On 1st June 2025, Singapore Gatka Akhara and Khalsa Dharmak Sabha organised Chabeel Day in conjunction with Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji's Shaheedi, a spirited seva initiative where children and youth came together to serve refreshing drinks to the public. Sevadars enthusiastically prepared and distributed Chabeel, Nimbu Paani, and soft drinks to passers-by and the local Sangat, spreading the Sikh spirit of compassion and selfless service on a hot day. The event was a beautiful display of unity, energy, and Chardikala as young sevadars stepped up to serve with love and dedication.
As part of Khalsa Week 2025, Singapore Gatka Akhara was honoured to collaborate with the Malaysian Gatka Federation (MGF) to present an electrifying Gatka performance. Held during the vibrant celebrations, our team showcased the traditional Sikh martial art of Shastar Vidya, demonstrating discipline, grace, and warrior spirit. The performance was met with enthusiasm and curiosity, serving as both an engaging display and an educational experience for the Sangat. It was a proud moment of cross-border unity and shared heritage in Chardikala.
